The Platform is a social network service platform focused on the exchange of Daoist culture, aiming to build a compliant, healthy and orderly space for cultural exchange and social interaction for vast Daoist culture enthusiasts.
To clarify the rights and obligations between you and the operator of the Platform (hereinafter referred to as "the Platform Party"), regulate your registration, login and usage behaviors on the Platform, and protect your legitimate rights and interests, these Terms (hereinafter referred to as "the Agreement") are formulated in accordance with the Civil Code of the People's Republic of China, Cybersecurity Law of the People's Republic of China, Personal Information Protection Law of the People's Republic of China, Provisions on the Administration of Internet User Account Information, Measures for the Administration of Internet Religious Information Services, Regulations on the Governance of the Online Information Content Ecosystem and other relevant laws, regulations and policy requirements.
Please carefully read and fully understand all the contents of this Agreement, especially the clauses that exempt or limit the liability of the Platform Party, restrict your rights, and stipulate the dispute resolution method (such clauses will be highlighted in bold) before registering, logging in or using any services of the Platform. Once you click "Agree", "Register", "Login" or actually use the Platform's services, it shall be deemed that you have fully understood and agreed to be bound by all the provisions of this Agreement. If you disagree with any content of this Agreement, please do not use the Platform's services.

I. Definitions and Scope of Application

(I) Core Definitions

  1. Daozhe Network: refers to the online service platform operated and managed by the Platform Party with the domain name [daozhe.org], including but not limited to websites, mobile applications (APPs), mini-programs and other forms, focusing on providing social and information services related to Daoist culture.
  2. User: refers to natural persons, legal persons or other organizations who complete the registration process of the Platform, or actually use the Platform's services without registration (hereinafter collectively referred to as "Users"); among them, individual Users shall be natural persons with full capacity for civil conduct, and minors or persons without full capacity for civil conduct using the Platform's services shall be operated by their legal representatives and bear corresponding responsibilities.
  3. Account Information: refers to the information submitted by Users to identify their identities during the registration and use of the Platform, including but not limited to username, avatar, profile, mobile phone number, identity document information, unified social credit code, etc., and the specific scope complies with the definition in the Provisions on the Administration of Internet User Account Information.
  4. Platform Services: refers to the social and information services related to Daoist culture provided by the Platform to Users, including but not limited to browsing Daoist culture content, publishing original content, topic discussions, community interaction, adding friends and private messaging, sharing Daoist culture resources, etc. The specific service content shall be subject to the actual operation of the Platform.
  5. User Content: refers to various types of information such as text, pictures, audio and video, links, etc. created, published, uploaded and disseminated by Users in the course of using the Platform's services, which are related to Daoist culture or social interaction (hereinafter referred to as "UGC Content").
  6. Social Interaction: refers to interactive behaviors conducted by Users through the Platform, such as adding friends, private messaging, creating and joining communities, participating in topics, commenting, liking, sharing content, etc.

(II) Scope of Application

This Agreement applies to all the rights and obligations arising between Users and the Platform Party in respect of the use of all services of the Platform. The Platform may formulate separate service rules for specific services; if the separate service rules are inconsistent with this Agreement, the separate service rules shall prevail; matters not stipulated in the separate service rules shall be governed by the provisions of this Agreement.

II. Account Registration and Management

(I) Registration Obligations

  1. When registering an account on the Platform, Users shall provide true, accurate and complete account information, and bear full responsibility for the authenticity, legality and validity of the provided information. The information such as Daoist-related interests and research directions submitted by individual Users during registration shall be true and objective; the information submitted by institutional Users (such as Daoist culture research institutions, relevant cultural groups, etc.) during registration shall be consistent with the institution's name, nature, business scope/business scope, etc.
  2. The Platform shall, in accordance with the requirements of laws and regulations, conduct real identity information authentication for Users based on mobile phone numbers, identity document numbers, unified social credit codes, etc. If a User fails to provide real identity information, or fraudulently uses others' identity information or organizational information for false registration, the Platform has the right to refuse to provide services, and has the right to cancel the account and pursue relevant responsibilities if the account has been registered.
  3. Once a User's account is successfully registered, the User shall be responsible for keeping it. Users shall properly set and keep account passwords and relevant identity verification information, and shall not disclose them to any third party. All losses and liabilities arising from the theft of the account or the disclosure of the password due to the User's own reasons shall be borne by the User.

(II) Account Usage Norms

  1. A User's account is only for the use of the registered User himself/herself; without the written consent of the Platform Party, the User shall not transfer, lease, lend, donate or entrust the account to any third party for use. Otherwise, the account security risks and legal liabilities arising therefrom shall be borne by the User, and the Platform Party has the right to take disposal measures such as restricting functions and canceling the relevant account.
  2. When registering and using account information, Users shall not engage in the following acts:
    • Violating the prohibitive provisions of relevant laws and regulations such as the Regulations on the Governance of the Online Information Content Ecosystem and the Provisions on the Administration of Internet User Account Information;
    • Counterfeiting, imitating or fabricating the names, logos, etc. of political parties, party and government organs, military organs, enterprises and institutions, people's organizations, social organizations, or countries (regions), international organizations;
    • Counterfeiting, imitating well-known Daoist-related institutions, academic groups, historical figures or others' identity information to mislead the public;
    • Using content that involves feudal superstition, obscenity, pornography, violence, terror, ethnic discrimination, incitement of hatred, etc., which is illegal, irregular or contrary to public order and good morals;
    • Including QR codes, URLs, contact information and other marketing and promotion information for the purpose of harming public interests or seeking improper interests, or using homophonic words, similar characters, numbers, symbols, etc. to mislead the public;
    • Containing other content that may infringe upon the legitimate rights and interests of others or violate laws and regulations.
  3. If a User finds that his/her account information has been stolen, abused or there are other abnormal circumstances, he/she shall immediately notify the Platform Party through the official contact information of the Platform, and cooperate with the Platform Party to take measures such as freezing the account and modifying the password. Losses caused by the User's failure to notify in a timely manner or to cooperate with the adoption of measures shall be borne by the User.

(III) Account Disposal Rules

  1. The Platform Party has the right to verify the account information submitted by Users, and has the right to refuse registration or account information changes if it finds that the information violates the provisions of this Agreement. For account information containing content such as "China", "Chinese", "Central", "National", or containing symbols and signs of the Party and the country, verification shall be conducted in accordance with relevant regulations with strict standards.
  2. The Platform Party establishes a dynamic verification system for account information, and will verify the stock account information from time to time; if it finds that the information does not meet the specified requirements, it will suspend the provision of services and notify the User to make corrections within a time limit; if the User refuses to make corrections, the Platform Party has the right to terminate the provision of services and cancel the account.
  3. If a User violates laws and regulations or the provisions of this Agreement in using the account, the Platform Party has the right to take disposal measures such as warning and reminder, ordering correction within a time limit, restricting account functions (such as prohibiting publishing content, prohibiting social interaction), suspending account use, closing the account, and prohibiting re-registration according to the severity of the circumstances, keep relevant records, and report to the relevant competent authorities when necessary.

III. Platform Services and Usage Norms

(I) Core Service Content

The core services of the Platform include: 1. Social interaction services related to Daoist culture, such as topic discussion areas, interest communities, private messaging between friends, content comments and likes, etc.; 2. Other services explicitly provided by the Platform Party. The Platform Party has the right to adjust, update or terminate the service content in accordance with laws and regulations, policy requirements and operational needs, and relevant adjustments will be notified to Users through reasonable means such as platform announcements.

(II) General Usage Norms

  1. When using the Platform's services, Users shall comply with laws and regulations, public order and good morals, the principle of good faith, respect Daoist cultural traditions and academic norms, and shall not use the Platform's services to engage in any illegal or irregular acts that harm national interests, social public interests or the legitimate rights and interests of others.
  2. Users shall not use the Platform's services to produce, reproduce, publish or disseminate the following content:
    • Content that opposes the basic principles established by the Constitution;
    • Content that endangers national security, divulges state secrets, subverts state power, or undermines national unity;
    • Content that harms national honor and interests;
    • Content that incites ethnic hatred and discrimination, and undermines ethnic unity;
    • Content that undermines the state's religious policies, advocates cults and feudal superstition;
    • Content that spreads rumors, disturbs social order and undermines social stability;
    • Content that spreads obscenity, pornography, gambling, violence, homicide, terror or instigates crimes;
    • Content that insults or slanders others, infringes upon others' right of reputation, portrait right, privacy right, intellectual property right and other legitimate rights and interests;
    • Content that engages in illegal missionary activities, gathers people to cause trouble, defrauds property and other illegal activities in the name of Daoism;
    • Content that contains other content prohibited by laws and administrative regulations.
  3. Users shall not use the Platform's services to engage in the following acts:
    • Without the permission of the Platform Party, using any robots, crawler programs or other automated equipment and software tools to access, crawl, collect the Platform's content and interfere with the normal operation of the Platform;
    • Conducting reverse engineering, reverse compilation, cracking or attempting to obtain the source code and core technology of the Platform's services;
    • Interfering with or disrupting the normal operation of the Platform's services, or intruding into the Platform's servers, databases and other systems;
    • Obtaining or disclosing the personal information, trade secrets, etc. of the Platform and other Users without authorization;
    • Inducing or deceiving other Users to provide personal information or property in any way;
    • Engaging in uncivilized behaviors such as harassing, insulting and threatening others in social interaction, or organizing and participating in malicious screen swiping, rumor-mongering and attacking to disrupt the platform order;
    • Other acts that violate laws and regulations or the provisions of this Agreement.

(III) Special Norms for Social Interaction

  1. When conducting social behaviors such as adding friends, private messaging, and community interaction, Users shall respect the wishes of others and shall not forcibly harass or pester other Users. If receiving a notice of refusal of interaction from other Users, they shall immediately stop the relevant interactive behaviors.
  2. When creating or joining a community, Users shall comply with the community management rules, and shall not use the community to disseminate illegal and irregular content, organize illegal activities, or conduct commercial marketing, malicious traffic diversion and other acts. Community administrators shall perform management responsibilities and promptly clean up illegal content and members.
  3. In interactive links such as comments, likes and shares, Users shall express their views rationally, respect different academic opinions and cultural cognitions, and shall not engage in personal attacks, malicious defamation and other acts to maintain a healthy communication atmosphere.

IV. Agreements Relating to User Content (UGC)

(I) Ownership of Rights

Users shall enjoy legitimate intellectual property rights or personality rights such as copyright and portrait right in respect of the UGC Content created and published by themselves. When a User publishes UGC Content on the Platform, it shall be deemed that the User grants the Platform Party a worldwide, non-exclusive, free and sublicensable right to use the Content, including but not limited to displaying, disseminating, reproducing, adapting and compiling such Content for the legitimate commercial purposes of the Platform's operation, promotion, optimization, etc. Users reserve the right of authorship in respect of such Content and other rights enjoyed in accordance with the provisions of relevant laws.

(II) Liability Undertaking

  1. Users guarantee that the UGC Content they publish complies with laws and regulations, public order and good morals and the provisions of this Agreement, does not infringe upon the legitimate rights and interests such as intellectual property rights, personality rights and property rights of any third party, does not violate the academic norms of Daoist culture, and does not contain feudal superstition or content that misleads the public.
  2. The UGC Content published by Users only represents the personal views of Users and has nothing to do with the Platform Party. If the UGC Content published by Users violates laws and regulations, infringes upon the legitimate rights and interests of third parties or violates the provisions of this Agreement, resulting in losses to the Platform Party or any third party, the User shall bear full responsibility, including but not limited to compensating for losses and eliminating adverse effects. If the Platform Party suffers losses as a result, the User shall compensate in full (including but not limited to direct losses, indirect losses, attorney fees, litigation fees and other reasonable expenses for rights protection).

(III) Management Obligations of the Platform Party

The Platform Party has the right to review and supervise the UGC Content published by Users, establish and improve a content review mechanism, and equip reviewers who are familiar with Daoist culture and relevant laws and regulations. If finding content that violates laws and regulations or the provisions of this Agreement, it has the right to take measures such as deletion, shielding and disconnection of links, and take corresponding disposal measures against the relevant User accounts according to the circumstances. The review behavior of the Platform Party does not represent recognition of the User's content, and the Platform Party shall not be liable for the authenticity, legality and accuracy of the User's content.
In accordance with the "Safe Harbor Rule", if a third party believes that the UGC Content published by a User infringes upon its legitimate rights and interests, it may submit a written complaint to the Platform Party in accordance with the complaint process announced by the Platform. The Platform Party shall handle the complaint in accordance with laws and regulations after receiving it, and timely feedback the handling result.

V. Protection of Intellectual Property Rights

(I) Intellectual Property Rights of the Platform Party

All content of the Platform (including but not limited to text, pictures, audio and video, logos, signs, software, programs, algorithms, platform design, etc.), technological achievements and related intellectual property rights shall be owned by the Platform Party or relevant right holders. Without the written permission of the Platform Party or relevant right holders, Users shall not use, reproduce, disseminate, modify, adapt, translate or use them for other commercial purposes without authorization.

(II) Protection of Users' Intellectual Property Rights

The Platform Party respects the intellectual property rights of Users. If a User believes that the content of other Users on the Platform infringes upon his/her intellectual property rights, he/she may submit a written complaint to the Platform Party in accordance with the complaint process announced by the Platform. The Platform Party shall handle the complaint in accordance with laws and regulations after receiving it.

VI. Protection of Personal Information

  1. The Platform Party attaches great importance to the protection of Users' personal information, and will collect, use, store, transmit and share Users' personal information in a legal, legitimate and necessary manner in accordance with the provisions of the Personal Information Protection Law of the People's Republic of China and other relevant laws and regulations, and take necessary technical and management measures to prevent the leakage, tampering and loss of Users' personal information.
  2. The Platform will clarify the specific rules for personal information protection (including the scope of personal information collection, purpose of use, method of sharing, User rights, etc.) through a separate Privacy Policy, and Users' use of the Platform's services shall be deemed as consent to all the contents of the Privacy Policy.
  3. Users have the right to inquire about, correct and delete their personal information, request the Platform Party to stop collecting and using their personal information, cancel their accounts, etc. in accordance with the provisions of the Platform's Privacy Policy.

VII. Disclaimer

  1. The Platform Party shall make every effort to ensure the stability and security of the services, but due to the particularity of Internet services, it does not guarantee that the services are completely uninterrupted and error-free. The Platform Party shall not be liable for service interruptions, delays or content errors caused by force majeure, network failures, server failures, third-party attacks and other factors beyond the control of the Platform Party.
  2. The Platform Party only conducts general review of the UGC Content published by Users, and does not guarantee the authenticity, accuracy, legality and completeness of the User's content. Any losses incurred by Users due to reliance on such content shall be borne by the Users themselves.
  3. Disputes arising between Users and other Users in the course of using the Platform's services (such as disputes arising from social interaction and content publication) shall be resolved by the disputing parties themselves, and the Platform Party shall not bear any liability. If the dispute causes losses to the Platform Party, the relevant Users shall be liable for compensation.
  4. Some services provided by the Platform may link to third-party websites or services; such links are only for the convenience of Users. The Platform Party shall not be liable for the content, security and legality of third-party websites or services, and the risk of Users accessing third-party websites or services shall be borne by the Users themselves.
  5. The Platform Party shall not bear any liability for losses suffered by Users or third parties due to Users' violation of the provisions of this Agreement or the provisions of laws and regulations.

VIII. Liability for Breach of Agreement

  1. If a User violates any provision of this Agreement, the Platform Party has the right to take the account disposal measures agreed in this Agreement and require the User to bear corresponding legal liabilities. If losses are caused to the Platform Party, the User shall compensate in full, including but not limited to direct losses, indirect losses, attorney fees, litigation fees and other reasonable expenses for rights protection.
  2. If the Platform Party violates the provisions of this Agreement and causes losses to Users, it shall bear corresponding compensation liabilities, except for losses caused by force majeure or the User's own reasons.

IX. Amendment and Notification of the Agreement

  1. The Platform Party has the right to amend this Agreement in accordance with changes in laws and regulations, policy adjustments or operational needs of the Platform. The amended Agreement will be notified to Users through reasonable means such as announcements on the homepage of the Platform and pop-up prompts, and the amended Agreement shall take effect from the date of publication of the notice (if the User disagrees with the amendment, he/she shall immediately stop using the Platform's services).
  2. If a User continues to use the Platform's services after the publication of the amendment announcement of this Agreement, it shall be deemed that the User agrees to the amended Agreement; if the User disagrees with the amended Agreement, he/she shall immediately stop using the Platform's services.

X. Dispute Resolution

  1. The conclusion, performance, interpretation and dispute resolution of this Agreement shall all be governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China (excluding conflict of laws rules).
  2. Any dispute arising between a User and the Platform Party in respect of this Agreement shall first be resolved through friendly negotiation; if negotiation fails, either party has the right to file a lawsuit with the people's court having jurisdiction at the place where the Platform Party's operating entity is located.

XI. Other Provisions

  1. Matters not covered in this Agreement shall be governed by relevant laws and regulations and other service rules published by the Platform.
  2. Service announcements, privacy policies, community management rules and other rules of the Platform are supplementary contents of this Agreement and have the same legal effect as this Agreement.
  3. The Platform has set up a convenient complaint and report entrance and announced the complaint and report methods (such as official customer service phone number, email, etc.). Users may complain and report illegal content or acts to the Platform through such channels, and the Platform shall handle and feedback in a timely manner in accordance with the specified procedures.
  4. This Agreement shall take effect on the date when the User clicks to agree or actually uses the Platform's services.
